Hi There.

I am 17 years old,
But still have very pink bedroom, still not sure how we managed to get the carpet to match the walls and the wardrobes...
I'm an insomniac but i'm pretty sure I have the best dreams ever!
I'm addicted to my television, even if nothings on.
On the rare occasion I get bored of watching tv, i'll usually be on the computer or on 'Just Dance'. Pretty sure I can call myself an expert at it ;).
I love music and singing along to all my songs, its a shame I cant sing.
I've recently become addicted to painting my nails, but that's not weird at all...

Hey There.

Wow, i haven't written for so long! Once again my excuse is exams but there's also a little general laziness to blame. I'll just start by telling you the Psychology exam was even harder than last year! And I complained a lot about it being hard last year... Luckily it was the first exam I did so I had plenty of time to revise for it not that I actually spent that time wisely. But because exams are boring I won't go into detail.

In 11 days time I will be going to New York. I really can't wait and I can't believe how close it is. I remember thinking about this trip a couple of years ago when deciding what A-Levels to do and now I will be going there. I've already made a list of things to buy there, it's mostly food, but there's so much that they don't sell here in the UK it's crazy. So i'll be coming home with a suitcase full of sweets. I'm hoping to find some clothes too but that's not a priority right now... I'm not sure if i've mentioned my almost obsession with Darren Criss but he was on Broadway a couple of weeks ago and I so wish he could've been on Broadway the time I was going to New York, then I could've seen these amazing adverts:

His face is so nice.
But I know i'm lucky enough to be going anyway. I'll see him next time he's on Broadway ;).

March 23rd is when the Hunger Games film comes out. I am so excited! I think I've been waiting for this film for years... I got the box set for Christmas and read them all again within a week. I want to read them again! Might take them to New York for the journey, I know I won't get bored of them.

I just keep seeing so much about these films and the trailer is really amazing, I hope the rest of the film is brilliant. I really don't want to be disappointed. I think the sequel is set to come out November 2013 but that is so far away it's ridiculous!

I've been watching so much television recently. I don't think it's a normal amount, but there are so many amazing programs to watch I can't help it. I was bound to mention this but I absolutely love the BBC Sherlock Series, it is amazing. If you haven't watched them you must, they are excellent.

I should go now, spent to much time on Tumblr and and computer in general ;).

Cup Cakes and Clothes

Since giving up ICT I've had so much free time! It's amazing, I can get all my homework done in school and not have to do anything at home - which is a really bad habit to get into because I did no homework this weekend, and I needed to do quite a bit...
But I made some yummy Rice Crispy Cakes. My mum bought a giant pack of horrible cheap rice crispies and some silicone cup cakes holders so it just had to be done. The chocolate made them taste much better :).

They're a bit hard to eat with braces but as long as I get to eat them!

It was my friends 18th Birthday Party on Saturday and it was really fun. She had pizza and I was actually able to eat some, and the cake was yummy. I had a stomach ache but I seriously can't pass on some chocolate cake. I tried on my friends wedges and they were really nice, I want some now! I just need to make sure I've practiced before I wear them in public...
I went shopping before her party and finally bought some winter boots. I'm struggling to decide what goes best with them but hopefully just some tights and a skirt will do. And they were much cheaper because there was an 'At Least 20% off Sale' as well as a £3 reduction before and I used my UCAS card. It was amazing. I also got a cardigan - I've been looking for a black one for ages. This was also cheaper ;). Its quite plain but nice and comfortable. And I bought some lovely tights, which I wore to my friends, but I kept catching them on my watch, I had three potential ladders by the end of the night....
And today my mum went to New Look and bought me a skirt ;) whoop! (And another pair of those tights I kept ripping!)

In Time

I went to see In Time today. It was really good. It's set in the future but kind of matches the problems we have today in our society, but that's not just what it's about.
In the future time is currency, you run out of time, you die. Everyone stops aging at 25 but you need to earn time to stay alive. The green thing on Justin Timberlake's arm is the countdown. I have no idea how realistic a green timer that counts down on your arm is, but it's pretty handy.
Also, Alex Pettyfer is in the film, he's a bad guy though but I'm pretty sure he was the best character...
You should definitely go see it, it's much better than the adverts (well I thought so anyway).

My mum bought me an amazing lip balm, it is so delicious. And it's got a metal roll on thing, which is pretty fun. And 50p from every purchase goes to the charity 'Children on the Edge' to help vulnerable children all over the world.

I was looking on this website, notonthehighstreet.com because one of my friends was using it and I saw some amazing bags. I asked my mum if I could get one, and I had the best reason - for university. She said yes, so hopefully i'll get one soon, I just need to choose one. I've narrowed it down to two but I can't choose.

I really love the dog one, it's so cute. But everyone loves owls. I suppose that's why I want the dog bag... Any suggestions? ;)

I'm going to do some more online shopping, peace out!

The Mortal Instruments

I recently read The City of Bones by Cassandra Clare in the The Mortal Instruments series. It was really good. The book I read before was The Power of Six, which has such big spacious text that the text in this book seemed tiny! It was very good though, kind of like Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick because of the bad boy in it.

I definitely recommend reading it. Unfortunately the library didn't have the sequel, and neither did any of the other libraries in my borough, so I may have to ask for the set for Christmas. Because of this dilemma I chose to read a book I already had read, Anne Franks diary. I think I read it a few years ago so I couldn't really remember much, but it is absolutely amazing. I think I appreciate it now that I'm older how she was such a normal person (and teenager). I'm glad I chose this over I Am Number Four.
There are so many versions of her diary, one was the one Anne had edited herself when she heard publishers would be looking for documents, like diaries, to publish after the war to tell the story of the Jews from someone who went through it, one which Otto Frank edited from the original and Anne's version and one that is the original which has had bits from Anne's edited version added. I think I have the last version, I'm not sure, I was kind of confused when reading about it...
Whoever hasn't read this definitely should, especially if you love history and this time period, and just so you can get an idea of how she felt and how many other people must have felt during that time.

I can't remember if I've mentioned this before but I can't be bothered to check all my other posts, but a few years ago I read Witch Child, which is another diary by a young girl. I'm not 100% sure if it is a real diary account because it is set up realistically in the 17th Century and I once found a website dedicated to it and to finding more information about it as the diary was found in an old mattress, but there is an author and it's called a novel but that might be because they had to adapt it and guess some information like dates...
But it doesn't matter, you should read it anyway! I thought the cover and name made the story look like it was going to be scary but it is very good and amazing :).

Just a reminder

Just to let you know: Just Dance 3 is out!

I've been waiting for this ever since I got Just Dance 2 and played all the songs non-stop ^.^ can't wait to get it! I think my mum might actually be more excited than me.
LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem is on it, that should be fun ;) and the Scissor Sister's I Don't Feel Like Dancin', oh the irony - I love it!

Procrastination

Half-term is over in a couple days and it has gone way too quickly!
I haven't done much, I'm just too lazy.
It was my Physics friends birthday and she had an awesome partay - with pizza and the best chocolate cake ever; I think it had about a thousand layers of chocolate cream, that should be impossible.
Then on Tuesday I went to London with Sam and we had McDonald's, which I had literally been craving all week, and it was so good. Then I went back and turned Sam into an ice queen. Just in time for Halloween ;).
I think I have managed to do all my homework, spending about 10 minutes on each day I think I managed to complete it ;).
Also, I got braces, whoop! Joke, they are so painful. The bands hurt the most though, so when I got the wire put in that didn't hurt as much. And I can't bite my nails anymore so they've been growing like crazy. It's really weird to type because it feels like my nails in the way - nail biters will understand :P.
I was bored yesterday and procrastinating as I really didn't want to start doing Biology flash cards so I painted my nails. I didn't want to do just boring colour so I looked up some simple designs and managed to create these:

Sorry about the dryness of my hands - winter does that to me...
So in conclusion I haven't done much :) Peace Out!

Alex Pettyfer

So if you didn't already know I love Alex Pettyfer. But thats not the point. My friends lent me the sequel to I Am Number Four, called The Power of Six and it was really good! The ending had a cliffhanger, which totally means there's got to be a new book.

I also found this video on Youtube, if you're a Harry Potter fan you will love this (i think). I nearly died of laughter witching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZW_dwd_WJY . Sorry it's so random but everyone needs to see this!
Yeah, so school started, and I'm so tired all day everyday. I don't know if i'll be able to stay up watching Big Brother for much longer, but it's just so funny. Can't wait to watch it tonight!
Peace out!
