Hi There.

I am 17 years old,
But still have very pink bedroom, still not sure how we managed to get the carpet to match the walls and the wardrobes...
I'm an insomniac but i'm pretty sure I have the best dreams ever!
I'm addicted to my television, even if nothings on.
On the rare occasion I get bored of watching tv, i'll usually be on the computer or on 'Just Dance'. Pretty sure I can call myself an expert at it ;).
I love music and singing along to all my songs, its a shame I cant sing.
I've recently become addicted to painting my nails, but that's not weird at all...

Hey There.

Wow, i haven't written for so long! Once again my excuse is exams but there's also a little general laziness to blame. I'll just start by telling you the Psychology exam was even harder than last year! And I complained a lot about it being hard last year... Luckily it was the first exam I did so I had plenty of time to revise for it not that I actually spent that time wisely. But because exams are boring I won't go into detail.

In 11 days time I will be going to New York. I really can't wait and I can't believe how close it is. I remember thinking about this trip a couple of years ago when deciding what A-Levels to do and now I will be going there. I've already made a list of things to buy there, it's mostly food, but there's so much that they don't sell here in the UK it's crazy. So i'll be coming home with a suitcase full of sweets. I'm hoping to find some clothes too but that's not a priority right now... I'm not sure if i've mentioned my almost obsession with Darren Criss but he was on Broadway a couple of weeks ago and I so wish he could've been on Broadway the time I was going to New York, then I could've seen these amazing adverts:

His face is so nice.
But I know i'm lucky enough to be going anyway. I'll see him next time he's on Broadway ;).

March 23rd is when the Hunger Games film comes out. I am so excited! I think I've been waiting for this film for years... I got the box set for Christmas and read them all again within a week. I want to read them again! Might take them to New York for the journey, I know I won't get bored of them.

I just keep seeing so much about these films and the trailer is really amazing, I hope the rest of the film is brilliant. I really don't want to be disappointed. I think the sequel is set to come out November 2013 but that is so far away it's ridiculous!

I've been watching so much television recently. I don't think it's a normal amount, but there are so many amazing programs to watch I can't help it. I was bound to mention this but I absolutely love the BBC Sherlock Series, it is amazing. If you haven't watched them you must, they are excellent.

I should go now, spent to much time on Tumblr and and computer in general ;).

Kung Fu Panda 2

Really really want to see this film. The first was excellent and i'm hoping the second will be better, though I don't want to get my hopes up and then it turns out to be rubbish. That happens to me a lot. And McDonalds Happy Meal contains Kung Fu Panda toys. Sounds like the perfect date to me ;).

So school has been okay, only been back two days and i'm already so tired! I'm going to sleep so much on the weekend. We've only started proper work in Maths so i've not got a lot of work to do. We're watching films in Psychology and we helped Year 6 people in Biology and in ICT we talked about work but haven't done it yet so that doesn't count either... We're watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in Psychology and it is so good. I'd seen it on TV before but I didn't think it would be that good because it's quite an old film but it is pretty excellent. It's quite funny too and the characters are the best. Haven't finished the film yet but i've got a triple lesson on Friday and i'm looking forward to it!

I've realised i'm completely addicted to collecting points... I signed up to Cokezone a few months ago and I cannot stop collecting points! I don't think i'm buying more Cokes than usual but I am totally fixed on making sure those points are entered on my account online. And i'll take everyone elses, no one gets in my way. I got started because I wanted to get a t-shirt for 150 points but I think I might try and get another, I drink plenty of Coke so I may aswell :P. A couple of days ago my mum got a Beauty card from Superdrugs and I totally took it for myself. I've got 16 points already and that was only in one day. But I don't think this will be as exciting because it'll only get me money off Coke ;).

P.s. I'm so glad it's becoming Summer. Even though some days have been a bit crazy with the rain. But it shall get better and I can break out the vests, whoop!

Did ya miss me?

I've been away a long long time, mainly because of exams, and who would want to read a blog all about me complaining about my Psychology exam? Even though it's so hard!
Its half term now and I've got 10 exams down and 3 to go, so exciting. And after all mine and my friends exams we are going to Thorpe Park, which shall be so relaxing, unless we go on the really scary rides, like the Saw Maze, I hope to never have to go on that again! We've already had an 'end of exams' party, which wasn't really celebrating the end of exams, but I wasn't revising at the time so it totally counts!
Also while I've been away I've been able to cross off three books from my reading list: Pretties and Specials by Scott Westerfield and The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. The books in the Uglies series were so good, the third was definitely my favourite, it has so much action compared with the others! I hope Extras which is the fourth in the series will be just as good, but it doesn't actually follow the same character as the one that was in the other three, so I have no idea what it will be like... The Lovely Bones was also very good, I liked the way she was in heaven, I just like the depiction of it (if that's the right word).
I read The Shadow of Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón a while ago, turns out it had a sequel, which was actually a prequel to the first called The Angel's Game. Its so good, the writer is just brilliant, I have no idea how he comes up with the some of the things in the book, Carlos Ruiz Zafón really is an awesome writer.

So did anyone watch Eurovision? I absolutely loved the song New Tomorrow by A Friend in London who did the song for Denmark (the singer had Jedward-like hair).Oh, and Jedward were pretty good too!
Recently I've been watching, well waiting, for the Pirates of the Caribbean films. I had totally forgotten how awesome they were. I watched the third and had no idea what was going on so I made a pledge to find the rest of the films on tv. And guess what. They were on that week! I love it when things go to plan :). So i've got the second one recorded and I'm going to persuade my family that we should watch that, instead of Britain's got Talent, even though Simon does look so good in those V-neck shirts ;).
I should probably get back to revising for Psychology now, even though writing a blog post is way more interesting.
P.s. You remember Charlie? I totally failed at buying tickets to go see him. My Physics Friend and I were heartbroken! Hopefully we'll see him around sometime somewhere else </3
Haha, this photo made me laugh ^.^
I totally wasn't searching through Google for images of him

The Neverending Story

A lot of old films have been on recently. Mainly on Channel 5 and ITV. It's so strange watching films you've watched as a child when your old enough to actually understand what is happening. I think it makes films a little more magical and I still haven't stopped wishing I could be the children in them!
A while ago I watched The Neverending story:
It's not never ending the way you'd think it would be. It's like if you were reading a book, the people in that book are real, just like you are, and your story is being read, as if you were a character in a book. So it's never ending that way. So this film does actually end ;).
So this boy, called Bastian, is being chased by bullies and hides in a book shop where he steals this book that this man told him we wasn't allowed to read. In the book the world of Fantasia is being consumed by a force called The Nothing, so the creatures of Fantasia try to find a hero. The hero turns out to be a boy, called Atreyu, who along with his horse, Artax, go to find a cure for the ill princess of Fantasia so she can stop The Nothing. He has a lot of trouble on his journey. His horse is swallowed by the swamps and the wisest being, Morla, directs him to the Southern Oracle, over 10,000 miles away! Just as he is also about to sink into the swamps he is saved by the luck dragon Falkor, who takes him right where he needs to be. He has to pass through gates, which are like trials, and they have destroyed warriors before him.
I don't really want to give away the whole story because it really should be watched. I've seen it repeated a lot on ITV2, I swear it was on twice in one day... So if you see it you should watch it. Its fun and the creatures are so strange and you know the oompa-loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the one with Johnny Depp)? He is in it! Now if that doesn't get you to watch it, I don't know what will.

This is Falkor. Isn't he the cutest? ^.^

P.s. I hope everyone had a good Easter yesterday :). I certainly enjoyed the sudden acceptance of eating so much chocolate in one go. And I absolutely love Cream Eggs.
I'd better go eat more chocolate do some awesome revision ;).

I Am Number Four

It was great. Really great. Amazing in fact. I was worried the film would be no good and not worth the money but it was. I wouldn’t mind paying to see it again (and not just to see Alex Pettyfer)! I don't know why some reviews said it was worse than the book, it was totally different. Things happened in different orders and for different reasons. I've read half of the book and only one scene was the same.
This wasn't a horror film or particularly scary but I jumped so many times. It would be quiet and 'BAM' I would jump; even if it was just when people were moving posters or closing lockers. Obviously there were some actual parts were one was supposed to jump, they were worse. The Mogadorians were incredibly ugly and scary. Their pointy teeth and gill nose hole things were too much to handle! Their little pets weren't so nice either...
I can't decide who was more adorable, John Smith or Bernie Kosar:

And Sam Goode wasn't too bad either:
Unfortunately, there weren't many great photos on Google of him. So you'll just have to watch the film yourself. And you totally should!
I can't wait to finish the book and see what happens in that, if the film is worse the book should be excellent, although my friend told me the book may now be disappointing because she read the book and loved the film. She has great taste in books/films (and totally loves everyone called Sam).

Tangled

I have finally seen Tangled! I absolutely love animation films like Kung Fu Panda, Howl's Moving Castle etc. So this film was just perfect. It was funny, cute and amazing.
Here are a few snap shots:

It is definitely a film worth seeing or buying on DVD. I want to see it again!
After the cinema a friend attacked me from nowhere. Ouch, my neck. But I bought myself a sausage role after to make me feel better. It kinda worked but it was so hot and crumbly!
I also bought a belt, because belts are cool. And some bracelets that match my necklace and earrings. I was on a role!
Now the next film I would like to see is I Am Number Four. Alex Pettyfer is in it ;).
